Any intercooler that has more surface area than the stock intercooler and still has good flow characteristics is a good upgrade for the TC. The trouble is getting everything to fit and hooked up in front of the radiator.

The Isuzu NPR will work better. It had to cool a bigger engine with mo=re boost in it's original application. The Volvo works well but it was on an engine the same size as ours. The NPR was cooling a diesel truck which has much higher boost and air flow.

Check on ebay. I have seen them pop up once in a while. Post in the wanted section of turboford. One of the junk yard guys will find one. They aren't cheap.

They aren't cheap. Evilbay averages $300 for these IC's. I paid $200 for mine. If you can check the local big truck yards. The Izusu NPR, GMC diesel 4 banger, and Chevy all carry this IC. If I were you I would go on evilbay and print up a pic with the specs and go to the local junk yards and ask if they have one. Makes it simple. Also if they dont have oine, they can get on their CB and ask for you. Thats is what they did for me. Good Luck.
