Hey!
I’m doing the retrofit 87-88 intercooler to my 84 engine. I have the front mounting bracket, but I’m not seeing where it would mount engine side. Is there a boss on the valve over that I’m missing with my 84 valve cover?

It goes to a E6 manifold bolt.

The 87-88 front most exhaust manifold bolt hole has a stud in it. Looks like a bolt with a nut in the middle of it. The bracket attaches to the stud with another nut.

Thanks guys. I got it all sorted out last night. Was on more of an angle then I expected it to be. Had to make a up a piece from the turbo to the intercooler. Now to send the turbo to evergreen to be rebuild. Unfortunately to much shaft play to just forget
