Hello All I am new to these forums but I have a question about the head lamps on my 88 turbo bird.
Would these mustang lights be able to fit in place of the stock ones on the 1988 thunderbird turbo?

I know these are mustang lights but I’ve been looking for aftermarket headlights for awhile.

My understanding is that mustang lights won't fit due to differences in some of the dimensions. I am very curious if anyone has actually tried to make them fit..
88 Turbo Coupe: Front mount intercooler, MGW short throw shifter, full coilover conversion, tubular control arms front and rear, svo front brakes, vacuum assist brake swap, manual steering swap, GT35R turbo with external gate, pimpx ecu, 60lb injectors, 3 core aluminum radiator, Boport 1.5 cam, gutted upper, corbeau fixed back seats, and the list goes on.

I’m very curious as well! If anyone has seen these lights swapped onto a tbird? Or some kind of aftermarket headlights or taillights? Haha I can’t find anything.

your only choice is a good used set of headlights
mustang lights will not fit the dimensions are off by a good bit

they only made the car two years and the lights don't interchange with any other ford car
not a big demand for the lights so there's no aftermarket options

Just don’t call Ron on the phone unless you want a 2 hour conversation. Really, really nice guy but he doesn’t pick up social cues about ending a conversation.
