What the dealer doesn't realize is that just because it has a different part number doesn't mean it won't work! Look at all the T3s and ranger rollor cams people are using on this board!

I remember seeing a post on the old board about having to drill out the metal bypass tube outlets on an auto turbo, as it's restricted to save the trans. I could very well be mistaken, though. Anyone else?

My parts car is an auto and my driver is a 5 speed. No difference between the two that I can see. As a matter of fact now that I think about it my 87s turbo came off of another auto parts car. I can hit 18 psi no problem! And I still have the original turbo and it looks like the other two.

You can use the IHI Auto, its easy but Take the T fitting off your current turbo(compressor housing with one line going to BCS and other to turbo), and screw it into the auto compressor housing, otherwise your BCS system wont work the same.

1987TC,
Well, yeah, sort of, maybe, I guess so. My daily driver is still using the BCS, but only because I haven't had time to put in the Ric valve I have had for it for 2 months [Image: biggrin.gif]
