I also understand the Holley pump is made by Walbro. Does anyone know this for sure?

Keeping this post updated as I hope this helps others out there. Late yesterday I got the Barometric sensor installed and was almost afraid to start the car. I have hhad it and I let her know that I do have a 351W ready to go in her if she does'nt help me help her. I did end up cranking her up and she ran for almost 2 hours with no signs of problems. I am trying not to get excited because i always thought and told my wife "Ok, this one last part and she'll be fixed." I got tired of saying it and she got tired hearing it. I was starting to look bad. I have not cranked her up today and I will wait untill I get the new fuel pump put in. Does anyone feel I could finally be on track with this? I do need some input from you guys. I felt like I was running out of things to replace. Also... Are there any particular grounds I should check and how would I accomplish that?

It never hurts to clean grounds. Get the big one for the batter, the engine and the one for the EEC for starters. http://www.turbotbird.com/faqs/#Electric...0Locations
Hang in there!

The fuel pump ground can get corroded due to its location. What I did, for extra insurance, is tap into the existing pump ground wire where it comes up thru the trunk and run an extra 10 ga ground to the back of the trunk sheet metal. You cant have too many grounds.
The pump check valve is in the pump, right at the outlet bung. They do fail sometimes intermittantly. Dont ask me how I know this.

OK, I will hit all the grounds next. I leave on tomorrow so today will be relaxation day with Michelle. The BP sensor seems to have cured the erratic idle, bucking, surging issue. The fuel pump has solved the pressure problem and I am very gratefull. It has been a rough week although I did notice yesterday on the test run the firm ride light will blink 3 times, pause, blink 3 times and so on. Anything simple? It never stayed on constant.... Not even during high RPMs, excess speed, or hard cornering. I usually always leave it on. Just one last question for you guys right now. I really do appreciate the help and I hope this helps others having a hard time with idle problems. Seems like sensor issues need to be adressed with the first possible one and just work your way down the line. It helped me to see an electrical diagram of the circuit to see what was tied together. Thanks guys.... Any ideas on the firm ride light flashing?

Probably an actuator. Use the tech article Pete said and find out which one is sticking. Then you can clean it up and that should fix it. If not, then alot.of us have spares.
