I am getting real tired of chasing down ignition problems with my car. I Cant figure out what is going on with my car.
Well here goes yesterday I started having problems with the car cutting a cylinder when boost went past 15psi. I thought I had the problem fixed, I fixed a bad connector on one of my plug wires which helped and had no more problem yesterday. Today i was taking my wife to work and the car ran fine on the way there, Stoped droped her off was pulling out of the parking lot a floored it to get across traffic and it had the same stupid mis! went to my work to get my W-2 shut the car off for about 20 minutes came back and the car ran good to 22psi, a couple minutes later it would only go to 18psi then mis, A couple more minutes go by and 15psi again.
The car idles great! doesnt mis at anything under 15psi. It has good fuel pressure. No codes.
I rechecked the plug wires and they are in good shape, still the same ohms as yesterday. What could cause this? It seems to temperature realted because of how it works ok when it cools for a few minutes. Could a TFI cause this? Any ideas guys?
Help me befor I go and do something drastic like swap a twin turbo 500 cadillac in it! [Image: biggrin.gif]

And it still feels slow!
