I'm wondering how difficult it would be to convert a non-power passenger seat to power. I'm hoping the track would attach to the non-power seat so I wouldn't have to pay for th entire seat along w/the track. Obviously I'd have to change the control panel on the console to dual power. My biggest question is wiring. Is dual power seat wiring already in place or would that take some major electrical work. If that's the case I'll probably scrap the idea.

I've asked the wiring question before. I'm told you will need some part of the harness.
I haven't done the swap so I'm not sure what all is needed harness wise.I'm assuming that whatever is needed would plug in to connectors on harnesses already in place. The seats can be unbolted from the non-power tracks and bolted to power tracks. I have some extra power tracks if your interested.

I know a guy who wants to trade two power, blue leather seats for a CD player. From what I remember, they were in good condition...

I converted my passenger seat from manual to power, it really is easy. All you need are the power seat base/motor and the harness with switches for both power seats. There is a connector under the carpet on the left side of the driver's seat that is where the power seat harness connects. With the dual power seats they get power from the same source as the single power seat, and the connector just Ys into two on the dual power harness. It's really alot simpler than it sounds, the worst part is taking up the carpet a little so you can find the connector for the seats. I had to slice my carpet about 2" but it's hidden once the seat is reinstalled. You will have to remove the center console and both seats to do the swap, but that's the worst part of it

Thanks Sam. Doesn't sound too tough. What about the panel that goes on the console. Uncscrew from the backside or something?
