this winter the antifreeze froze and i lost the frost plug on my ihi. pressed a new one in and put it all back together. NO BOOST??? thought the turbo was toast but it spins freely and no play. i just took off the exhaust and the front of the ihi hooked the vam right to the tb and started the car well the turbo spins and there is no oil or coolant leaking.

what to do next??? i`m lost

Boost leak? Do you hear any escaping air sounds?

Either boost is bring mad and then lost or something is keeping boost from being made - bad turbo (not spinning fast enough to make boost?) or air path restriction. I once saw a turbo suck a shop rag when somebody decided to do the air filter delete option

wg works fine

i took it back off and hooked the exhaust side up to the air compressor and it spins but not fast it is hard to turn(a lot harder than my t3) so it looks like the t3 is going in.

anyone have pictures on how to hook up the stock ic to a t3 from a turbo coupe.

Just reclock the compressor housing so the outlet lines up with the inlet (bottom) of the IC.
