Can an ohm. meter be used to check the condition of the wire that goes to to pin 58?

Denny, yep ohm meter would be fine, there should no resistance in the wire between Pin 58 and tan( inj 1) or white ( inj 2). Not every body has a ohm meter so I didn't mention it. Another way to check the wiring would be to disconnect plug at computer, IMPORTANT. Then jump the pins on injector 1 or 2(sprout connector works good for this). With ignition switch on, if the wiring is good, there should now be 12v on pin 58 of the EEC plug.
