She is pretty rough as you can see from the pics, but I have made worse look good lol.
I think since the turbo is leaking a lot of oil I will upgrade to a t3 now "if I can find one" and get that out of the way. The car has 2.5" exhaust with a glass pack on it, I hate glass packs and I will be replacing that as well. What kind of fluid should I put in the trans? Also what does the premium/regular switch do? I know what it's purpuse is but what dose it acctually do? retard the timing a few degrees?

The T5 manual tranny uses, believe it or not, automatic transmission fluid. If your using regular gas, you need to have that switch set to "regular". It prevents the turbo form boosting more than about 10lbs so you don't have detonation problems. It may change the timing a bit but I'm not sure about that. If you want the run at full boost, you should be using premium gas.

I have a boost controller in the car so I guess the switch is useless to me lol.
I have used atf in a manual before, I know in some manuals people prefer syncromesh just curious if it helped in this transmission.

The fuel switch does change timing. It will only change boost if the stock boost control system is hooked up and working properly

I wouldnt call that car "rough" by any means. Just needs a little TLC. For "rough" check out Tbird1983s post a few down the list.
