I can see! + headlight question

Thumbs up to the Tech articles on rewiring the headlights and fog lights. I finished that up on Saturday, and last night my brand new headlight assemblies came in. I put in some Silverstar lamps and 55w fogs and what a difference. I can finally see at night!

Now, this may seem like a silly question, but what is the proper way to adjust our headlights on 87-88 T-Birds? Mine are pointing in strange directions. I know how to physically adjust them on the assemblies, but is there a specific height and angle they should be adjusted to?

Yes, at 25' the top of the low beam should be at height equal to the the distance from the ground to the horizontal center line of the headlight, the left headlight beam right edge should touch a vertical line at the center of the car and the right headlight beam right edge would touch a vertical line at a distance from the center vertical line equal to the distance between the centers of the headlights. Or, both headlights should be adjusted on low beam so that they point slightly to the right and hit the road about 60' in front of the car.
