Will something like an SC50 fit in the stock location as long as the compressor housing is clocked properly?

I don't have any experience with this, but I think the T4 housing will be to big to fit with the stock intercooler under the hood. I remember seeing posts were people said the stock T3 was a tight fit.

I would also ask the question...
If you are upgrading to a nice big turbo for you TC. A proper sized IC would be preferred. The stock IC is decent for the IHI and T3. But with that big turbo I would pass on it.

There are guys out there who have made 300 horsepower with a TC intercooler. Its not efficient but it can be done. I have run one of my hybrid Grand National T3/T4 setups with a TC intercooler with no issues, but its pushing it. Can it be done?Yes. Is it optimal? NO

After rereading the OP question. If the SC50 outlet is 2" or so. Then yes it will bolt up to the stock IC.
You need a signature so the rest of the NATO board can help better.
Like if your TC is pretty stock. Leave the turbo along until you have alot more supporting mods..

Mine does. Took some clocking and a little massaging to get the WGA mounted but it fits and works fine. Some day I'll get a bigger IC on it. I agree the stock one is too small for that big a turbo.
