I just bought a t3/t04e 50 trim .63 a/r turbo for my birdy, it's still has stock ihi on there, but the car runs really good especially in cold weather, if I step on it in second gear at around 45mph it breaks them loose like nothing, what kind of emprovement can I expect from a new turbo, the intake looks so much bigger on the hybrid, help me out guys here.

You can expect to make more boost, and to move more air into your engine at a given boost level. You must have the fuel to keep up with the boost level, and if you dont it could seriously damage your nice new turbo.

With a nice exhaust system spool up wont be much worse than your IHI but, it will be slower to spool, thats a given. With the right tuning youll break the tires loose in 1st 2nd and 3rd [Image: smile.gif]

Well right now it breaks them loose in first 2 gears, and it'll chirp them in third, my ihi spooles up at around 3000rpm, but it feels like peak power at 3500rpm, after 5500 it goes flat, I see everybody is talking about running out of their turbo and fuel and exhaust, I don't see anything just yet, I am not going to run more than 16psi on the street anyway, and I do have a 255lph fuel pump already in the garage, I think I have some time this weekend to install this turbo, I am excited, but I don't want to mess it up, the car runs so good right now.
