HVAC Fan clean out....

So my 88 TC always had what I thought was very limited air flow through the vents on all settings. Yesterday I decided to take apart the fan assembly behind the glove box to check things out. WOW, it was 3/4 full of mouse nest! Nest was all in the fan and covering the heater core. I never smelled anything funky so never thought it would be mice. Had to pull the fan motor out as well to get at the heater core and clean everything and vacuum out all the crap, literally. Was a very simple task, total time involved was maybe 1.5 hours. Now I have serious air flow out all settings and much better heat. There is a small hole, maybe 3/4 inch diameter on the front wall of the blower mount, this must be where the mice get in. If your car sits over the winter, I suggest everyone do this.
