Check out my master list in the part #'s section. I found ALL new parking brake cables, reman'd LA3's, and a ton of other cool stuff. The parking brake cables break down into 5 part #'s but they are all new and relatively cheap. The LA3 is less then $110!! I've seen them go for twice that on eBay!

You can find all these items and much more at www.napaonline.com. Sometimes it's not clear but a little judicious searching will usually come up with the right parts. That's how I do my shopping now. I get the part numbers online and then go to the NAPA store and order them.

We've got all the moldy-oldy books that have the no longer computerized part #'s. Those are what I'm really aiming for! And hey, sometimes it gets slow, gotta keep busy Wink

i went into a local pepboys (block away from my house... so its not THAT BAD), anyway, i went in with a P/N for a valve cover gasket, give him the number, and he doesnt know how to search for it by number... so he proceeds to look it up manually, he goes and gets it, then says 'HEY! it WAS that part number!' seems like sometimes they want to earn their money, and look stuff up themselfs... heh

The normal mom and pop shop I shop at, thats how the guy looks up everything, he has his computer terminal right there but looks it up in the books goes to check the shelf, to see if they have it. If he doesnt see it then he looks it up on the terminal. I like the way they do business. I think there an ALL Pro carrier. Plus they know there parts.
