huge anti-freeze leak

i have a really big anti-freeze leak. it is that hose that connects from the fron of where the turbo is to the back end of the engine. do i need a new piece or can i fix the old one? there is a big hole in the metal part...

You need a much more detailed discription of exactly what is leaking. A pic would help alot. It sounds like you are talking about 1 of the 2 lines that run along the valve cover to the heater core and oil cooler, but I cant be sure. If it is one of those metal lines, it cant really be fixed, and needs to be replaced. If a rubber hose is leaking, just replace it.

it is the metal part. it leads from the front of the turbo to the rear of the engine. the part the goes to the rear of the engine has a big head and a smaller insertion hole. will get pics up as soon as i get home.

that sucks....it's one thing after another with these cars until you get them up to date on maintenance. if you need a metal coolant line, PM me. i sent your IRCM yesterday.

We really need a pic. There are no metal lines coming to or from the front of the turbo that carry coolant. Are you talking about one of the metal coolant lines that cools the turbo that are about 1/2" diameter and attach to center section of the turbo on the valve cover side and have short pieces of orange (stock color) silicone hose in the metal lines?
