Anyone help me wire a hobbs pressure switch that is normally closed (on) to a relay so that it will operate a methanol/water pump in the opposite direction?
In other words the switch currently cuts voltage when pressure is applied, I need to wire it so that it will supply voltage to a pump when pressure is supplied, I know it is possible with a relay but cannot fathom the scenario in my head. Please help.

Easy way: Get a SPDT (single pole double throw) 5 terminal relay. These may be available at a auto parts store, but can for sure be found at Radio Shack or online from any electronics parts place like Digi Key, Allied, etc. Use the normally closed contacts to trigger the meth system. In other words, when Hobbs is closed normally closed relay contacts are open, relay is open and when Hobbs opens, normally closed contacts are closed.
Elegant way: Solid state..... you can use a linear chip, like a op amp or a simple transistor as a voltage inverter, but this requires some electronics knowledge and time to build.
