If your bird is the 87 or 88, then the dash speaker covers just pop off with a little prying. Be careful because most dashes are brittle from age and sun damage. The speaker screws are a little weird in that you have to have some sort of ratchet driver that bends at a 90 degree angle--or you can take the windshield out (which would be dumb). If your car is not the 87 or 88, then I have no idea! Good luck!

Its the same on a 86 i know that. You will need that 90 degree screwdriver.

Thanks to the both of you.

It is an 88 and I tried prying, just didn't go far enough, afraid of breaking things!! I also have the little ratchet deal, Snap-on Victim, only used once, one of them, came in a 3 set.
