I need to put one of my trunk springs back in place. Does anyone know of an easy way to et it bcak in. I am talking about that long steel bar that goes from one end of the hindge to the other. One is in place, but the other one needs to be in place in order to keep trunk lid open.

I remember watchinga guy at a body shop simply use a vise grip to hold the first rod in place, and then snap the second one in. he used the first notch i think, so its not too tight, and has less chance of kicking the vice grip out.
