HOW MUCH PORTING ON E6 IS ENOUGH?

I am new to the turbo world. I used to have a bird w/347 stroker but rolled it and then bought a turbo. anyways, how much porting is enough and not too much for the E6?
1988 Blk T-Bird, 5-spd, Raven int, 3G Alt, K&N conical, Boost controller, ported E6, ported and polished IHI @ 16 psi, 03 Cobra wheels, 255/40/17, 275/40/17, SN95 BBK lowering springs, SN95 Koni struts and shocks, Maximum Motorsports C/C plates, SN95 BMR tubular A-arms, Aluminum driveshaft, LED's, 255 LPH

well I ended up just going to town on the runners wherever I could reach w/my bits. smoothed the corner looking spots and tried to match the gasket ports... seems to be good.... car is back together and runs so that's a plus!! lol
