hey, just a thought since these cars are getting older-how many miles does everyone have? still on original engine/trans/rear end?
I have 209K with a engine replaced around 150K or so and rear end and trans (as far as I know) original.
Tell us what you have! miles are like scars, lets all compare! be proud!
Currently birdless, but will get another someday!

Hey I might just beat everyone on this one? I am not sure if that is good though?? My 87 has 207,000 on the original engine, trans and rearend. I had to replace the clutch the day after I drove it home. It was a 6 1/2 hour drive one way. I have had it to the track and it did manage to run a 15.838 @85.23 MPH. Sean.

179,975 miles. Ran a 15.51 with smoke pouring out from the "going south" original IHI. When I fix the scanner, I'm sending my timeslip in Glen. Had the car for 2 years and only have put 500 miles on it. Had to hide it the first year to keep the repo man from it. My buddy that bought it couldn't pay the note and asked me to keep it for him in my garage. I guess I should have asked more questions about it. It's mine now and I love it!

138,000 miles on mine. Everything is orginal, although the clutch is starting to give up the ghost. Runs like a champ though, hopefully I am in the mid 15's or better - we'll find out this summer.
Whoever says Ford stands for "Fix Or Repair Daily" doesn't own a Thunderbird.

I have 220K on the daily driver. Only thing
replaced was the clutch because of leaking oil. My others are 160K, 114K and 58K.
