OK...let me try this again. I tried to post yesteday, even tried to post 2 pics...have NO IDEA where the post OR the pics went....oh well.
I am 42 and this is the first T/C I have owned..I have wanted one forever it seems,or at least since I drove one in '86 That one, like the one I own now ,was an '86,black with red leather interior, and all the options that were available. 5 speed car that is so much fun to drive. My wife doesn't drive it too much tho because she says she doesn't have the self discipline to keep from getting enough speeding tickets to wallpaper the living room with. So,she just drives her 2000 Mustang,go figure.
86 T/C black with red leather interior,tinted windows,5 spd,3" exhaust,
dynomax dumped at the axle, lots of mods planned, gonna be a heck of a ride, hang on

I'll be 56 in March. I'm in the bond business. My wife tells me that bonds mature, people in the bond business don't. I've always liked fast cars.

I wonder why my wife thinks I have too many cars??

I'll be 34 next month. My story is a combination of those already told. I graduated high school in 1987 and this was 'the' car I really wanted since I majored in mechanical engineering at TX Tech. However, with my savings and the generosity of all my family members I wound-up in a 1987 mustang GT that I kept for about 8 years. It was running mid 11s on nitrous by the time I sold it. I got into motorcycles and that turned into my passion for a while. I am a "retired" roadracer and won several championships on various bikes and still have a ZX9R Ninja for speed duties. I did own a 1988 TC in the mid 1990s for about a year and I let emotions get the best of me. I should have bought another one. I no longer have the car because it had electrical problems beyond belief. The past 7 or 8 years have me looking at getting another one to restore and modify. I miss the one I had (when it was running) and I look forward to owning another one but I'm going to be extremely picky about the next one I pick up. These days I work at NASA as a safety officer but used to be a shuttle flight controller at the MCC (so if you have any NASA related questions I can probably answer it - there are no aliens yet, however.) My wife wants me to get either a Miata or a corvette for a 'fun' car but I'm gradually breaking in the idea of a TC since we have a baby now. My goal is to get a TC into the mid-low 13s fully loaded. Yeah it'll cost a lot to do but the next TC I get will be mine forever. And it will play nothing but 80s music in it too!!!!!!

As stated by r3lic, I've been around since 16...20 now (21 in July). The death of my bird spawned his so it wasn't a total loss. I'll have another some day...College is expensive.

Gary S., I am female.

I saw someone today near N. Baltimore that had a great looking black TC. It looked a lot like mine, without as much rust! I just keep the faith that I will get it beautiful soon! My hubby teases me to just part it out and start over.... I couldn't! Cooper (tall dark and handsome, like Gary Cooper) is my baby!
I just want my Bird back!

I'm 19, I first owned an 88lx and I stumbled upon this site when I was searching for other tbirds a couple years ago. Ever since I found this site I wanted a turbocoupe and finally bought a white one this past August. This is one of the best car sites out there, you always get a quick response to a question and I've never seen anyone get flamed for asking a question.
