Horrible Brake Issues

I've got an 87 tc, and after my brother engaged the abs once and since then the brakes have gone down about a half inch. I've been told it was the brake booster, I'm not sure what that is, I think its the master cylinder or a component of the power brakes. I think it couldn't handle the abs slammin the brakes over and over, is my guess. But I'd imagine someone else has had this problem what should I do?

Are either of the brake warning lights on (one red, one orange) Can you hear the booster run for a few to several seconds if you turn the key to RUN. Pump them a couple times with the key off then turn the key to RUN. You should hear the pump run. It's under the hood near the master cylinder. Let us know what you find.

Good judgement comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
