I wouldn't go there... I'd be thinking about "Silent Hill" the whole time.

I took a detour back in 2000 on the way home from Carlisle and drove some mountain roads. Stopped for some photos and stuff. Nowadays I end up just wanting to get home to see my kids...

I don't know why I ever thought it would be cool to have four fog lights on the car... Rolleyes I was a stupid kid at the time.

i still do this, a few years ago heather and i stopped at indian echo caverns

and we sometimes get off the turnpike and take the back roads and get lost (well not lost gps is always on dash) but unfamiliar areas, finding vineyards and small beautiful towns.. always a good memory. but we only live 2 and half hours from Carlisle so its not as different as it used to be

Definitely out of the way but there is a grand canyon of pennsylvania near northern pa, outside of wellsboro, pa. Found out about that during a work trip flying into wellsboro.
