Hopefully soon to be new owner from Ohio

Hey, everyone. Thought I should register on a good forum before I laid down cash on a 1988 Turbo Coupe. Actually, I should say 2 - 1988 Turbo Coupes. I found someone on Craigslist who has a black automatic for sale with 97000 miles that looks really nice, and another 1988 TC with a 5 speed that is pretty rusty. I'm considering buying both and doing a trans swap so I can end up with a really clean black TC with a stick. Any suggestions, advice? I hope to buy both for less than $4000.

I would buy both if you have the room. You will use many parts other than just the 5 speed trans, pedal assembly, etc.
