but when I do it will be a turbo coupe. I appreciate the car for its unique looks, performance capacity and simple nature. Its big, heavy and goes fast. Ive owned many types of cars from.

1. 87 Suzuki Samurai
2. 96 Pontiac Sunfire
3. 88 Toyota MR2 (bolt ons)
4. 99 Ford Ranger (bolt ons - nitrous)
5. 03 Chevy Cavalier (bolt ons - cammed)
6. 00 Honda Civic Si (bolt ons)
7. 05 Hyundai Tiburon SE (bolt ons)
8. 00 Ford Mustang GT (bolt ons)
9. 06 Chevy Cobalt SS/SC (bolt ons - tuned - pullied)
10. 09 Honda Fit DD

and my current project car........1998 Mitsu Eclipse GS-T which is a 7 bolt bottom end and 6 bolt head. I got the car not running and fixed it up to the point where I am SUPER close to firing it off. I talked to a local guy about swapping it for a 87 coupe. IDK if that will go through or not but had me thinking if it does or doesn't....maybe I need to get some knowledge lol.

Hope to learn some things, see where this goes. Anyone local in NC wanna swap???? Smile

Welcome. I'm new to the forum too. I sure would like to see how you put the hand brake in if you decide to do that. I've been considering it too. Seems that the ONLY thing the engineers at Ford forgot to include in the TC is a hand brake. These are AWESOME cars! (Coming from a BMW enthusiast.)
1988 Turbo Coupe, 5 speed, 2"exhaust/no cat. 1990 "Turbo Ranger"XLT 5 speed, 4X2. 2002 Harley Road-king.

Woops. Sorry, wrong thread. I got you mixed up with the other new guy who wanted to build a TC drift car. LOL. Good luck with your search. There were several TC 5 speeds for sale around here. PM me if you want me to check into it. Welcome!
