Whats the most fuel pressure you guys have run with stock injectors?
I'm still glowing with 47lbs FP, 15lbs boost and no IC.
I'd hate to have to downgrade turbo and header till I can afford an SDS.
Maybe the stock IC would restrict air some? Dunno?

I haven't run much more than 43-44 Lbs base pressure (w/o vac line).

Do you still have a cat ? It might be clogged ???

The collector area of my header will glow a dull red after the short trip through town on my way home from work, so I'd suspect that a little hint of orange is nothing to be concerned about, particularly if you've been hot-rodding around beforehand.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of base ignition timing are you running? Timing can have an awfully large effect on EGT's regardless of how "good" your a/f ratio is.
