High Beam problems

My '87 is having problems passing inspection...
I can not get the high beams lever to click and stay in position. The brites work when i hoild it back... Also the radio dims and momentarily turns off when I try to turn them on.
I tried replacing the multifunction switch to no avail. I'm thinking it is the "flash to pass" relay. Any thoughts?

If you cant get the lever to click to stay on then its that switch itself..
I had the same problem, only I lost my lights completely I had to hold the highbeams on all the way home.

MFS is bad if it wont "click". Flash to pass relay / circuit is 100% independent from the regular headlight circuit, and it sounds like the flash to pass is working correctly.
