Hi folks.
My name is Cliff. Im 48 years old, Im from Cape Breton Island,Nova Scotia,Canada. Some of you may have heard about the Cabot Trail. Im married with 2 boys,8 & 11. Im a welder by trade, carpenter by experience, backyard mechanic and lobster/crab fishermans helper. Im currently on disability from a back injury from a slip on ice 5 years ago.

My first T-Bird was a 1988 , Black LX, 5.0,auto,loaded. Purchased her in Jan 91. I ran this car for 10 years, then finally put her in the backyard with 350km. She wouldn't keep her oil pressure up at idle.
My second T-Bird I got about 2005. A 1987, Red, 5 sp. turbo coupe. A few years later, the brake assembly(hydraulic pump)stopped working. I pulled my brake system out of my LX, but no installed yet.
I recently(2 weeks ago) bought my 3rd T-Bird. 1988 silver,5 sp. turbo coupe. It has 244,000km on her, but I don't know how. The interior is mint and original paint. Shes got some rust around wheel wells and door bottoms, but the rest of the car is perfect. Living on the coast, rust is a common problem here.
Looking forward to learning lots from you guys. Im old school, so abit out of my comfort zone when it comes to turbos.
I love atving(when back lets me)and the outdoors. Cars have always been my passion.Hoping to fix up both birds and pass 1 to each of my boys(when ready).
Looking forward to meeting you all. Cheers!!

You can post photos using the "File Manager" in the full reply screen, but they have to be under 500KB. What most of us do is upload them to a photo sharing site and just copy the image link over, surrounded by image tags.
Code:

Thanks Brian.....It was a lot of fun building. Countless hours of fabrication but as they say " a labor of love." Its got a 12 hp engine which I piped threw the stacks....Sounds great for what it is.
