I want to fire a second plug. When #1 fires I want to Fire #4. I thought about using a rotor to fire opposing terminals on the dizzy but I don't think there is enough fire for 2 plugs. Is there some way I could get an inductive pickup and some way to switch it, to fire a second coil???

You could use an inductive pickup on each plug that you wanted to use as a trigger; a single one (like your example, # 1 firing #4) would involve the pickup, a trigger circuit, the HV generator (coil), and a method of getting that HV pulse to appropriate plug.
The main problem I see is that if a second coil is paralleled across a single plug (like #4), when the normal plug pulse is directed to #4 by the dizzy, it's also going to go to the second coil (thereby halving the power of the spark), that is unless some sort of isolation device (circuit?) is used.
It could probably be worked out but it might not be pretty.

Could you adapt a DIS coil set-up?

Bob... just wondering why you want to do that. Why fire a plug on the exhaust stroke?
What you want is similar to the "waste spark" system used on some modern DIS/EDIS systems that have coil packs (not talking about COP systems here, just DIS). These systems fire 2 plugs with one coil on sister cyls at the same time. Most of the spark energy ends up going to the plug in the cyl on the compression stroke, but the plug in the cyl on the exhaust stroke still fires. What Joe suggests will work, but I agree that it wont be pretty. Your best bet would be to adapt an DIS system from a later model (early 90s) Ranger 2.3. If I remember correctly, the early DIS system will accept timing advance trigger info from the SPOUT circuit without modification. EDIS systems use a different way if sending advance info (SAW, or Spark Angle Word, a 4 bit digital pulse system)to the EDIS module, which is not directly compatable with the SPOUT system used in the 2.3T EECs.

I was hopeing to get by without actually saying what I am gonna try...It's been bugging me for a while so I am gonna do it and see how it acts.
Jeff, when #1 fires on comp, I want to fire #4 on compression also..I am going to cut and rotate the cam so I can fire #1&4 and 2&3 at the same time....
When you all recover.......It's just something from the old days and I want to do it.
I need an inductive pickup, a normally closed switch circuit that opens when the pickup tells it to. Can anyone make that for me? I'll need 2 of them.

Jeff,
After finally digesting what you said, I can replaces the stock coil with a coil pack and it'll fire 2 plug wires at the same time..?? This would be the easiest way to go for a project that may not have much worth..
If this will work, the coil will fire from the coil wire now firing the stock coil, I'll try it that way.

Bob, let me do a little looking at some EVTMs, and a little reading about the exact ins and outs of the DIS stuff, and I will see what I can come up with.... What I do know about the DIS systems that fire 2 plugs at the same time off one coil is that most of the energy goes into the plug in the cyl on the comp stroke, since it takes a lot higher voltage to fire the plug with a 180 psi fuel/air mix than it does to fire the plug in the cyl on the exhaust stroke that is basically at atmospheric pressure.

Bob, i may be WAY OFF here but why are you trying to do this.....is it going to sound like a harley....Isn't the reasons harley's have that distinctive sound due to the timing. I know thats true, but i don't know if the timing is how you are trying to make it, for some reason it just sounds familiar to me? Just curious......

Back in the old days, to you, I ran cycles and did a lot of hillclimbing. I rode Triumph, BSA, and Harley...Some of the guys who had two stroke twins, and way before that some guys took straight eight Buicks on the stock car circuit, and made them fire this way. The bikes were known as "Twingles" or twin singles. Had tons of torque.
A guy I know also did this to buick 8's by changing the firing order and cutting the cam in two and rotating it 180* and welding it back together.
I just wanted to try it and see how it ran..
