I was watching that bird a little while back, and after rereading the description, I had to email the seller on a few points:

1. The 5spd came with a 3:55 rear!
2. The hood is NOT fiberglass!
3. Who's gonna pay 9-10k for a TC?

It does look good though.

i also looked at the t/c. it is surely good looking and all that stuff. i bought as svo comp prep car off ebay last year. it was just as it was purported to be(ucky for me)!
however the old axiom is still"LET THE BUYER BEWARE'! i still have a bad feeling about buying something i cant see or feel close up. especially for that kind of money.

They also said that it came stock with the gauges & the CD player!!

It does look nice, but $5000 and after the way they stressed the point that all vehicles are sold as-is and with no warranty and no guarantee!
I wouldn't trust it... Did they say how many miles?
87 Turbo Coupe, 5-speed, boost at 18 PSI, K&N in finder, tangerine paint, shaved door handles, locks and emblems, painted interior trim(same as exterior), tiger print headliner, visors and door panels, Autometer gauges, 5.6" monitor & Playstation 2, lowered, white pony wheels...did I forget anything?

Harvs,

I don't understand why you are asking this question on Jan 23. The car was sold on Jan 5th and picked up on the 9th. I drove the car from Iowa to Pennsylvania with a stop in Ohio for new tires. Yes, I paid too much for the car, but it was what I was looking for to match my other TC. For the others, yes it has a 3:55 rear, no, there was never a fiberglass hood or gauges on the pillar from the factory. The radio does have a CD player, but it's an after market radio. Who's going to pay 9 - 10K for a TC? Who knows what 10 years will do to prices, that why we all are members of NATO. We like Turbo Coupes.
