Help requested

I've been looking for a fourm such as this. I'm an 84 Turbocoup and I need assistance. I wont start for my owner. Assuming my EEC is still good, and that is suspect, what sensors will keep me from starting? My fuel pressure and Spark appear normal. I believe I'm not getting pulses to my injectors, therefore no fuel to manifold. Will overboost signal cause injectors to shut down? Once I start I can provide codes to my owner and perhaps he can make me better.

You can report key on engine off (KOEO codes and continous memory (CM) codes with your engine running.

What is the last thing(s) your owner did to you before you stopped running?

EEC can fail, but rarely. Suspect everything else first.

Has your owner checked the cam timing to see if the belt broke or jumped teeth? Does the distributor turn when your engine is cranked?
Have him set the crank to TD on the #1 compression stroke, pop your dist cap and see if your rotor points toward #1 plug wire terminal. If it doesn't your out of time.

Overboost doesn't affect fuel delievery.
