Just wondering if anyone has any good pics, websites or just anything to help properly put the engine back together. I have the Haynes book and we all know how unhelful that is. Any help is appreciated. The main block is back together with the exhaust and intake and turbo mounted up, it is just all of the coolant hoses and oil supply lines and vacuum lines I really need.
yeah it is fast, just a little slow getting back to the garage!🚓

Let me try this one, I was in your boots just last week.

1) Water from water pump outlet, via steel tube to input of heater core.
2) From core outlet to steel tube running behind valve cover to oil cooler on lower, D/S of motor.
3) From cooler outlet to steel tubing returning behind valve cover, back to P/S of motor, connecting to a third steel tube leading to water pump suction (inlet).
4) Small, 5/16 in. tube welded on larger 1/2 in. tube, near the oil cooler, is connected via U shape rubber hose to small, centered inlet into bottom of intake manifold. (Water jacket).
5) Small, 5/16 in. tube welded on larger tube, in vicinity of turbo, feeds cooling water to the turbo cartridge.
6) Cartridge cooling water is returned to lower P/S of motor block via small diameter tube and hi-temp hose.
7) Small diameter, steel line(crooked dude) supplies oil from PSI sender fitting located on D/S, rear of motor. It of course connects to the turbo cartridge oil inlet.
8) Oil is drained from turbo via large corrugated SS flex tube directly into a boss located on the P/S of the motor, directly below the turbo.

Rubber hose ells are used in several places to facilitate connections. I fiddled and f--ted with all these pieces and the above is how I remember putting them back. They were taken off an '87 TC several weeks ago. We'll check them tomorrow PM, to make sure of the connections.

Have yet to figure out the vac lines, but hopefully there is a diagram on the underside of your cars hood.

Keith, Those are the lines as they came off the car back in 2000. What goes where is as much a mystery to me today as it is to you.

88silver-bullet and Turbocoupes: That the motor I built in 2001. The E6 was coated with some stuff called "Hot Stuff" from JC Whiteny. It held up for a couple years.

The bottom pictured configuration of lines connects the heater core, to the oil cooler. See Item no. 2 in above post.

The small, short legged U tube (hose) connects to the center, bottom of the intake maniforld water jacket. See Item no. 4 in above post.
