I am under car fixing coolant line and try to move wastegate. Won't budge! Is this normal? Which way should it move, toward wheel or engine. Currenly at the 8'o clock position looking up from the ground.
Thanks, Tank

Tank, I think that's normal. My wastegate rod doesn't move by hand and I know for sure everything works right. As long as your turbo is boosting like normal, I wouldn't worry about it

Tank, Sam is correct, it won't move by hand undeer normal pressure. If the turbo is not over boosting, don't worry about it. If you want to see it move, apply 10 psi air pressure to the fitting on the WGA. Look close because it will not (not suppose to) move much, just a few thousanths of an inch.
