Kinda sounds like a plugged cat or exhaust blockage. Drop the down pipe and go for a run. If all is back to normal something in the exhaust is blocked or plugged.
84 T/c, 88 intake,I/C, injectors, hood, PC1 ecu, E6 manifold, Brown Tops, K$N open element, BPV. Way pay to run 8 cylinders when 4 plus a turbo will get you there quicker.

something is seriously wrong with it, might as well just give it to me.........just kidding

does it rev ok without a load on it? like sitting in nuetral and rev it up? does it show boost? check engine light on and check for any codes? ipsd also has a good idea-could be a cat.
Currently birdless, but will get another someday!

i finally got to it and fixed it thanks for all the help guys but it was the dumbest thing, the lower coupler was cut in half and the intercooler shifted over so it was nothing covering the turbo.
