They have been obsolete and gone for years. I don't remember the last time I saw OEM TC hood liner for sale. There is probably one somewhere but..........?

You might try this guy Chad White, Class-Tech-Cars 540-896-5758 He has add on ebay, under hood insulation. I'm going to get one and have it cut and put headliner material glued to it.
Restoring a 88TC Auto into a 5-Speed with hydrolic clutch. So far, paint job, engine rebuild. Supension rebuild.

Buying material and making your own may be the only option

You might check out this guy,

I see some on ebay from time to time, but I did a search tonight and didn't see any. The ones I saw on ebay before had a T-Bird logo embossed on them, not exactly like the original, but nice. I think zbird has one installed on his 1988 TC, looks very nice.

Yes I did, it is glued in. I am going to replace it with the original style and have the T-bird emblem painted on with "Turbo Coupe" underneath it. Carpartsjim is the seller of that one on ebay. Search Hood insulation and you will see his stuff. He will make whatever you need. You can see that one here. [video:youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZihO_D1FLCE[/video]

I installed that one and like it. Only been on there since october so can give many longevity reviews but seemed good to me and the guy selling it seemed knowledgable about his product and into tbirds so thats always cool.

was gonna post a pic, how do we upload pics not on a server/site, can we just copy/paste them into a reply or upload the old way? maybe i'm missing something obvious?
