just paid 82 bucks for a ford heater core. coming tomorrow.

Finally have mods that I can post... 373 gears with a brand new t5. K&N cone. Gillis set to 15 psi. Walbro 255 lph. Kirban afpr. Kelly Evo Z tires. Energy suspension front swaybar bushings. Rebuilt topend with stock components.
Working on a FMIC w/ the stock IC.

lol wonder why the difference is so high. i couldve gotten like five parts store cores for this price. but this thing better last another 15 years

The heater core is one of those things I would ONLY get from Ford. If you can'y get a better price from Ford, Let me know and I could get one and ship it. I don't know but I would guess I could mail it for $10 or less

no you just have to hope he used the ford core instead of the parts store cores that tend to break in less then a year.

we have a radiator shop round here that will recore any heater core and they last! i think its time to have my spare reworked... i had one done for a 82 P30 chevy van 4 yrs ago ,,, still going ! Quote:Originally posted by trashline:

MAN now that i think of it my turbopinto needs core too, wonder if ford makes them ,its the original 26 yrs not-too-shabby
