just in case you were all wondering, a ford heater core is now 114 dollars at the ford dealership. guess this will be a summer only car. I called only 4 months ago and they were $79!!

I put a Ford core in my TC. It lasted 10 months.

My NAPA core has lasted two years and counting.

No how to's on installation ? I'm don't like the cold. Burr
Why don't some company make a stainless steel one with aluminum fins? I hate having to replace cores.

Look in the Tech Article, bottom right, under heating and cooling

Is our heater core the same as the 79-93 mustang with AC? I guess it is, i just never realized that. Is the aluminum better than the OEM? I agree it would be nice to see a SS one. I would like to only do this once...

Yes, the TC and FOX 3 Mustangs use the same core. Thats why it is still available from Ford dealers. If it was a TC specific part, it would have been obsoleted 10+ years ago.
