Looking for head lights stock or after market

Aftermarket doesnt make them. If you can manage to find some NOS headlights expect to pay around $250+ per headlight. FYI, Mustang and 87-88 "regular" 5.0 and 3.8 Tbird headlights will not fit.
You can cut your current headlights apart to remove the lens and buff the lenses out, etc and glue them back together.
There used to be someone on here who would restore TC headlights but I dont think he has been around here for several years.

I also have dull headlights. Will brighter bulbs help?

If the outside of the lens in cloudy try wet sanding them with 240 to 400 grit depending on how bad they are, followed by 400, 600, 1000, 1500, 2000 grit followed by polishing compound then buffing compound. Put a few good coats of high quality wax on them. If the silvering on the inside is severely degraded, not alot you can do about that
Just did this on the wifes 06 Taurus. Lenses were so cloudy and yellowed that you couldnt see the bulbs thru the (originally clear) lenses. I did the above procedure minus the wax, and clear coated them with UV resistant clear paint. they look like new headlights now.
For bulbs I switched all the cars in our fleet to LEDs (illegal in most states including mine) several years ago. Adjusted the aim a dew degrees lower. Never had any issues with the cops, never been flashed by oncoming traffic, and the light output is amazing! Also converted the driving lights on the TC to LED units.
Tried Silverstar Ultra, Phillips extreme vision, etc aftermarket bulbs a while ago. Not much improvement and they burn out 4x as often as stock bulbs.

Just wanted to add onto what Jeff has said. I did a test yesterday on the turn signal portion of the front head lights. There are 3 sections on each side, and what I did was only to work on the outside lenses. I used the Mr. Clean magic eraser to remove the yellow from the outside lens. It worked great! Finished it up with wax. Will move onto Jeff's process soon.

After the collision I had last summer with the kid that ran a stop sign, I had to replace the right front light housings (side marker, parking and headlamp housings). I too refuse to pay upwards of $200 each for a used headlamp housing set (I’ve seen NOS ones that approach $1K for a pair), so I decided to see what I could do to restore/repair the spare ones that came with the right fender/header panel/bumper and cover from a salvage car.
I was so pleased with the results that I posted what I did Here (scroll down to near the end, it’s post #6 in the thread). It’s been almost a year and all of it still looks practically new.
Because I was so successful restoring what I already had, I was able to hang onto a spare set of headlamp housings I picked up on eBay some 10 years ago.
Another proud dues-paying member.
1987 Turbo Coupe w/T5OD, 8.8 axle, grey smoke; most options. Got it in 1991 with 41K miles: 3 turbos, 2 heater cores, 3 T5OD full rebuilds, 6 clutches, 1 head gasket, 2 Teves II ABS units, etc. later....

Jeff K, I'm pretty sure 87-88 regular 5.0 & 3.8 headlights will fit a TC, assuming the TC in question is also an 87-88.....
