Im losing close to 1 volt at the headlight connectors. Any way I can bring this closer to battery voltage? Ive cleaned the grounds on the radiator support.

Id like to add a relay but Ive read that causes the low beam out light to come on.

Any idears?

Are you using a good quality DVOM????I have to use a real expensive one at work so I don't get crap readings on any circuts that I work on. That can lead to a wrong diagnosis in an elecrical system.I think the headlight harness runs under the battery tray so check there and see if you have a bunch of corrosion first. Then go from there.

The relays really help and take the load off the light switch as well as making the headlights brighter. Take the bulb out of the "low beam out" indicator.

A 1 volt drop for the standard headlight system is about normal.
