Headlamp Adjustment Screws

Good Afternoon- I did search but couldn't come up with pertinent information on the subject.

Both of the plastic headlamp adjustment screw "cups" are broken on my '88 Bird making the headlamps "flop" around. I notice that two out of three screws are not the same as the third, which is clearly adjustable from both ends. The other two only have a phillips head which you can't really access while they are installed.

If I order two of THESE would they work for the bottom of both headlamps? Part number is 42151.

The other part they have listed is 42152. I looked at Dorman's website (they are Dorman's part numbers) and the difference looks to be in the end of the threaded part so I'm not sure which I would need or if either will work.

Thanks for any help!

One more thing, the sealant on both my headlamp lenses is already mostly gone so it will be super easy for me to get them apart to clean! Big Grin (I'm thinking about doing an HID projector retrofit sometime down the road, though. With actual good quality projectors, not just throwing bulbs in.)

Two of the three screws are adjustable from the backside when the headlights and brackets are installed in the car. The 3rd, oddball screw, I don't think is meant to be adjustable. The Dorman screws look like they should work. I'm looking at a couple of lense/brackets that I just came into
Thanks for the tip on those screw assembly's. I wasn't aware they were available.

The thing is, on the two- you can't really get to the phillips head on them when they are installed. From what it looks like you are supposed to install them into the bracket itself and adjust to "stock", then install the headlight bucket onto the screws and lock them into place. The 3rd "oddball" IS the adjuster from what it looks like...since it's the only one that has an exposed end with what looks like flats for a small adjustable wrench.

I guess I don't see any reason all three can't be of the "oddball" design.

AutoZone carries these screws but they are $9.99 each. Rock Auto has them for $3.77.

Edit-
Additionally, O'Reilly Auto has 42150 for $6.59 which looks like it has both one "oddball" and one "regular" screw.

I guess for only a couple dollars more, I'll go to O'Reilly tomorrow and have them order me a couple sets. The "oddball" is actually a fair bit longer than the other two, so it may not fit in the other spots.

I'll update this thread with fitment when I get them in.
