Good Afternoon- I did search but couldn't come up with pertinent information on the subject.
Both of the plastic headlamp adjustment screw "cups" are broken on my '88 Bird making the headlamps "flop" around. I notice that two out of three screws are not the same as the third, which is clearly adjustable from both ends. The other two only have a phillips head which you can't really access while they are installed.
If I order two of THESE would they work for the bottom of both headlamps? Part number is 42151.
The other part they have listed is 42152. I looked at Dorman's website (they are Dorman's part numbers) and the difference looks to be in the end of the threaded part so I'm not sure which I would need or if either will work.
Thanks for any help!
One more thing, the sealant on both my headlamp lenses is already mostly gone so it will be super easy for me to get them apart to clean!
(I'm thinking about doing an HID projector retrofit sometime down the road, though. With actual good quality projectors, not just throwing bulbs in.)
