Hard starting, and thanks Pete

Pete, Thank you for the reply on the fuel pulse dampner.
My problem is hard starting after warmup.
I have did everything I can think of, and I still haven't nailed the problem.
The car starts fine first thing in the morning, then go to the store, come out, try to crank it and it spins for about 5-10 seconds before it will catch, and start up.
I have replaced the stator, and TFI module, all Motorcraft. New plugs ,wires, rotor, and cap, all Motorcraft.
New TPS,oxygen sensor.
I have swapped the vane air box, the relay box with map sensor, and the coil.
Timing was set at 10 degrees before TDC with spout removed, and I assured all alignment marks were on the money(cam gear, crank pulley, and distributor).
I set the TPS at .94 volts.
I have cleaned the intake, and replaced the valve cover gasket, pvc is pretty new, and checks good.
All vacuum lines and EGR are good and working properly.
As I mentioned earlier, the car starts perfect in the morning or when cold, drive a few miles and its hard to start. It seems to start faster when warmed up if I push the accelerator pedal all the way down, then it will start, and run rough, then smooths out after a few minutes.
During this time idle runs high, and erratic.
Oh yes, I have also swapped the IAC, no change in the problem, and I cleaned the IAC with brake cleaner, and assured proper operation.
Fuel pressure also stays stable, I have monitored the pressure and it holds firm.
I have also installed a new fuel pressure regulator, no change.
I am afraid I am going to have to break down and take it to the Ford dealer, I hate the thoughts of that.
Any ideas?
Any new direction you can point me in would be greatly appreciated...

Pull the codes. Could be the ECT or a plugged coolant return line in the lower intake. Pull codes first. See articles in the FAQs and Tech articles
