I see we have two choices of spark plugs for our cars, the full threads, and the half threads. I know each style works in a turbo head, but is one better over the other? Does one place the electrode better in the chamber for our turbos? Thoughts?

I have run NGK 2238 / TR5 plugs with 24 psi boost for 15 years. Zero issues and seem to last longer than the OEM plugs. Stay away from Autolite plugs. They are made in caves in the third world these days.

88 Turbo Coupe: Intake and exhaust mods, T3 turbo at 24 psi, forced air IC, water injection, BPV, Ranger cam, subframes, etc., etc.

Bummer about the Autolites, I have run them in all my cars for years. I'll check out the NGK's. Thanks

1987 Turbo Coupe w/T5OD, 8.8 axle, grey smoke; most options. Got it in 1991 with 41K miles: 3 turbos, 2 heater cores, 3 T5OD full rebuilds, 6 clutches, 1 head gasket, 2 Teves II ABS units, etc. later....
