Gutted upper questions...

OK, so I know the basics about doing this, makes more power on the top end, but kills bottom end torque. Question is, with a heavy 88 TC, would it kill the bottom too much to make it not as fun to drive, or does the top end gain more than make up for it. For mods, I have a BoPort 1.5 cam kit to install, porting my E6 manifold, T3/T4 .63 going in it, 3" to dual 2.5" exhaust from Stinger along with his FMIC kit. I want this to be a daily driven street car with some fun power. What says the knowledge base here? To port or not to port?

You won't notice any real drop in low-end torque or drivability by gutting your upper/knifing your lower. If you are already going to be doing your other mods, might as well do this at the same time.
Lost in translation..........
'88 TurboCoupe, Automatic, stone-stock (as I just got it) for now. Trying to get it back running and roadworthy before mods begin.
