hey everyone guess what I managed to get my hands on for $500....a 1984 Mustang Turbo GT hatchback t-top! Its black, and it needs some TLC, but I was told there is very few Turbo GT t-tops...anyone know about this?

According to the Fox-Body Mustang Recognition Guide 1979-1993. There were 3,241 hatchbacks(P28W) and 731 convertibles(P27W). There were 654 1C's. The Guide has nothing for T-tops or Sun-roofs. Talk to Pat in Sunland on TF he knows the numbers forward and bbackward. this guy actualy has over 30 SVO's and Turbo Stangs in his back yard That he has saved from the scrapyard or butcher!! He is Awesome.

definatly i'll get some pics on here asap..like I said it needs some TLC!! lol Im already looking for new carpet cause the guy I got it from said that the t-tops leaked, and water got underneath the carpet and started to rot the floor pans...the passenger side is the worst....AHHHH never replaced floor pans before...is it a real pain??

Is it an early 84' or a late 84' ? The late 84' will have fog lights.

early 84's and 83's will have no fog lights, the 3pc duckbill spoiler like on the pace cars, slapper bards rather then quad shocks. I don't think there were any other clues on the 83 and early 84's.. But the lateer 84's did have Marchal fog lights, and the standard LX spolier.

Very cool. I just got a late 84 GT T-Top car identical to yours. Approx 300-350 made with the t-tops I've been told.
