I had the steering column cover off earlier and i noticed there is a 1 wire Grey plug that someone cut the wire off of. Can anyone tell me where this wire is supposed to go or what it does?

Thanks

I've got one of the factory Ford wiring diagrams (oversized book - not the troubleshooting manual) and it shows a Gray connector with a Black/Pink wire for the key buzzer. Is the single wire color Black/Pink?

I've found the wiring diagrams to not be 100% accurate, so if you have the wire color and it's different, let us know.

All data says its the key buzzer. Hope they are right. YOU can test it by opening the drivers door and use a test light to ground and the buzzer should sound. Big Grin Smile
