I thought the auto parts stores only rent tools. I never thought about that them renting gauges. I'll take a look into this afternoon. i have not done cap rotor or wires. They looked pretty new when I got the car so I took them off and sanded them to fresh metal and got a really good spark. But my plug wires on the other hand are crappie. So i these motors like motorcraft stuff but no part store around me has any they all have to order them. So I'm trying to get everything running and idleing good then I was going to get everything new.

Motorcraft WR4011C plug wires from Rock Auto. About $22 plus shipping for a set. Cheaper than any parts store, even including shipping. Order them by manufacturer and part number, not by the make, year, model, engine for your car.
