well i fianlyl put in the cheapo air/fuel gauge i got form pep-girls. im curious as to see what this non turbo motor does with the turbo computer and injecters.
the car runs liek shit at idle and shakes whiel in drive with foot on brake at a stop light. even tho my friend lauren loves it, it drive me nuts. but when it doesnt shake in dive its runnign kinda rich. all the other tiems it running lean.
crusing down the road it goes from full lean to ideal constantly. never rich.
now first thing when i start it runs ok, but not perfect, is kidna towards the rich side, but after it warms up it goes lean.
now if i dont let the car warm up and try to take off , liek just pull away it stumbles, at this time it goes full elan and then the guages shows nothing, so i put my foot tot hte floor it clear up starts goign and its back to ideal.
my question out of all this rambleing is.
woud;l it be good to try puttign on ym AFPR and bump up the pressure a bit to see if this clear up. or am i taking a risk a destroyign soemthing?
as in the last post i had about this wacky compo mpost think the car owudl run rich while crusiing or accelrating, but its opposite it runs lean, really lean.
thansk for any advice or recomendation on this.
FYI
it has cleaned injectors, new fuel filter, dist. VAM, air filter, from my blue car so ic an see if that was it, also new TPS set at .943 and freshly cleane IAC and i ran an intake system cleaner thorught the vacaum lines when it was running to clear soem shit out. agian thanks!
