This has been around for a couple years. The idea sounds good. Suppposidly it was tested and added about 20 HP to a car that was making around 400 HP to start. I forget what the base cam was that they compared it to. I think that may have been what the Article in MM&FF was about? I got it around here somewhere

This is the car that tested it. RS450*Randy Schlitz) owns this car. He is the eec tuner guru for the 2.3T. It used a ranger roller for the first runs. I would consider this cam to be the same performance wise as the A237. I think a bigger cam would have made even more HP. I don't know(or heard of) anyone that runs this cam but him.

Let us know what you think if you buy it [Image: biggrin.gif]

I am really considering getting that one myself also. I think my current cam idles rougher than i bargained for but i am unsure if this one will be smoother or not.

FWIW:

There is one guy over on TF that allegedly bought one. He was asking the best advance/retard to set it at...

I have considered this cam for quite a while now, but as long as the price keeps coming dow, I'll keep holding off till later. It started around 399 for just the cam, and I the last time I checked it was around 265!

And yes MMFF did do a multi-page article on it called, "Doing the 4banger bump and grind" I forget which issue though, it's at my parent's house...

Yeah,I saw the article to,hanging framed on the guy's wall.He said they were gonna do another article on it soon (he hoped) he has some new fuel management and some other stuff on it as well.I saw the car but only from a distance.Says they got a 6000 square foot shop there..... [Image: biggrin.gif]Well I already have the A237 in my car, guess there isn't a whole lot of incentive for me to change then.

I agree with those who consider helping get the exhaust out of these engines by increasing the ability of the engine to get rid of spent cylinder gases...this includes a larger exhust valve, porting,as well as increased lift and better valve event timing...am in the "STUDY ALL INFORMATION" stage of just increasing the exhaust valve diameter and leaving the stock intake alone[just mild porting of both int. & exh. ports]with this cam or the cam from Turbo Tek Toys[talked about on Turboford.org] in 13.9 TC that is relatively stock...these mods along with exhaust mods SHOULD liven up my bird and make it a lot more fun being a "Bird O Prey"...

Good luck finding a TTT Hot Street cam, the website says they went under a while ago. Unless you can find a used one, again good luck, you may be stuck trying to cop a cam card from Reeve and getting a custom grind.
